1.) The same # of teams that qualify for D I will also qualify for D II. Teams that received an automatic bid based on placement at the 2009 D I or D II Nationals may advance to claim a 2010 spot ONLY if they play (not place) in the 2010 District Tournament (for a listing of the automatic bid teams view the following link: http://www.aauboysbasketball.org This is a National AAU basketball rule. 2.) Teams that qualify for a National Championship and do NOT wish to attend MUST let the Sports Director know IN WRITING no later than 8 days after the District qualifier.  If notice is NOT given the coach/team/club in question will NOT be extended an invitation during the next AAU season since they deprived another team from attending a National Championship event.
